A chance of rain is forecast Wednesday afternoon and evening in San Diego County as a trough moves in from the west, according to the National Weather Service.
High temperatures Wednesday are expected to be around 65 along the coast, 65 in the western valleys, 57 to 62 near the foothills, 51 to 58 in the mountains and 72 to 75 in the deserts, NWS said.
Widespread showers with embedded isolated thunderstorms Wednesday night will transition to showers Thursday that will be most widespread over the mountains and valleys.
Friday through Sunday is expected to be dry and warmer with weak high pressure aloft, according to meteorologists.
