John Legend, Audra McDonald and Ziggy Marley are among the many stars set to take the stage for Summer Season at the Rady Shell.
The slate as always, includes the San Diego Symphony Orchestra as the musicians perform at the June 28 opening night, Beethoven by the Bay on July 12 and the Tchaikovsky Spectacular, with conductor Rafael Payare, on Aug. 30, among other dates.
One-night-only artists include stars from pop, jazz, rock, R&B and more.
McDonald, a Tony winner, comes to town June 30, Marley, an Emmy and Grammy winner, on July 5 and Legend – an EGOT, meaning he has an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony on his resume – arrives on Aug. 15.
